Setting 30 Day Goals
Many people have wishes but few have goals. I always say that the difference between a goal and a wish it that a goal has a time stamp on it.
The other day Ray Higdon did a short training on goal setting and I wanted to share my notes with you today.
Here are some of my notes:
Use the calendar on your phone. Set your calendar on your phone to remind to to evaluate and set goals every thirty days. Make the event recurring.
Set three goals. Only set three. By only setting three they will remain easy to manage.
Slightly under shoot the actual goal. For example if your goal is to lose 10 pounds only shoot for six. If you lose all ten great but if you only lose six you will still have momentum going into to the next month.
Write your goals down. Make sure they are written down and review them EVERYDAY. If you miss one of your goals one day don’t bet yourself up. Strategize to see what is needed to make it up.
Here is a short video.
